WDS is always looking for projects that are compatible with the organisation’s values and objectives in creating a better built environment for women. We are keen to work in partnership with other organisations, which share our goals and thus maximise the potential improvements that can be created. Future projects that may be in the pipeline are:-

• Working on the benefits of SMART housing for women, especially older/disabled women living alone.



• Working with a regeneration organisation and women’s organisations working in construction to address the skills shortages in the construction industry.



• Working with others in introducing planning/design/architectural projects into schools with an emphasis on encouraging young women to get involved in those professions.



• Working on a research project in collaboration with Queen Mary College.
