Women's Design Groups Project Manager

Salary: £31,935 per annum pro rata

Hours: 17.5 hours per week

Contract: 12 months (commencing 1st September 2010)

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for our Women's Design Groups project. Funded by London Councils, the project aim is to establish Women’s Design Groups in twelve London boroughs in order to increase community engagement and participation in local / regional planning and policy development.

We are seeking a Project Manager committed to these aims to deliver the final twelve months of this exciting three-year project, building upon achievements to date.

Applicants should be experienced in community planning, with project management skills, able to relate to and engage with a variety of different audiences. We are seeking someone who can support women to influence the town planning system in London and recruit women for new groups for the remainder of the project. The successful applicant must also be able to liaise successfully with local authority officers to gain commitment to working with, and deliver training to planning departments.
