Gender & the Built Environment: Gendersite

Below: report from the Gendersite launch event, October 2008

Funded by the UCL-led programme UrbanBuzz, Women's Design Service worked in partnership with Queen Mary University of London to publish a website which brings together all the existing resources on the issue of gender and the built environment: www.gendersite.org. The site includes lists of broadcasts, books, bibliographies, conference papers and reports and also a number of case studies on transport, safety, housing and women in built environment professions and we will be continuing to add to these. Let us know if you would like to contribute or if you have any comments by emailing gendersite@wds.org.uk
